I was making lasagna and found myself short on lasagna noodles! I had a box of Pasta Portions and decided to use the uncooked macaroni for one of my lasagna layers. To my surprise, it worked wonderfully! And, the kids like the macaroni in the middle of the lasagna!

Fantastic! When I finally located them (Giant Eagle (first) and now at Wal-Mart) The rotini pasta came out perfect in just 5 minutes in my microwave. Now to try the macaroni and penne. Love spaghetti & meatballs (too bad there is no spaghetti as yet - hint??) but I can imagine it with rotini or penne. Now I can get my favorite pre-maid meatballs and sauce and have a dish anytime without much fuss. The frozen spaghetti & meatballs just does not do it. Thanks for making a quality product once again! And see if you can get Shop N Save in Pittsburgh to carry your fantastic product.

Normally I don't buy 'single serve' items because it's more cost effective to buy and then portion out and store single servings. This I found different enough to try it out. It fills in different needs 1) Less items to clean 2) saves time - cooking and cleaning and 3) portion control. The combination is good enough to ensure I'll be purchasing this again.

It's good when you need a quick meal. Perfect for college students.
However, as an Italian who enjoys her pasta more al dente...I don't think that's possible with this product.
I also question the safety of heating a plastic bag around your pasta as it has been found that plastics can become carcinogens when heated....has this been studied?

I was a ronzoni customer for years,you guys did have the best pastas..I just wanted to say that in your blue box pastasare slipping quality wise.I never had any problems at least until last year 2010..I stopped purchasing that particuler.box of pasta Reasons.(maybe my opinion will help in future sales.) Number one- your fast cooking pasta isTERRIBLE-Sure they cook fast,the only thing in this type turns into almost dough (mushy too) My second reason is that your blue box pasta(which I have been using for at least 40 years,With this one breaks up in the pot while cooking,and by the time your eat them they breaki up even more!! Did you ever see for example the Fusilly pasta turns into elbow macaroni all busted.You this is why people purchase diferent shapes of pasta because somehow their tast sort of differs in taste,THAT IS WHY I LIKE THEM SO!! But now I get very frustrated with nthis. I end up throwing them out!! If I wanted soup I would have purchased..Did you ever eat for example the fusilli spaghetti. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT 1 TO 3 INCHES LONG AFTER COOKING THEM INSTEAD OF APPX. 12 INCHES of spaghetti that it was suppose to be instead of 1 to 3 inches long after cooking. Like I said if I wanted soup I can use the short ones for soup!!. I am not exxagerating either. I want to try to continue with Ronzoni pastas but they are not the same cup of tea for me.. Im only trying to give you some pointers of what the consumer would think too! Not just me!!!Sometimes your customers. Your sales may even go up gradually.Im am not trying to insult ronzoni, I just wanna see you guys be more successful; thats all..I hope I made sence to ya: the average consumer opinions make more sence to follow that the company's corporate.Sometimes their quota does not make any sense. The consumer is the one that eats this great pasta NOT CORPORATE! I hope my opinion helps you guys to potentially improve its quality. In most cases--The customer Is always right.!
